City Plans To Offer Housing Assistance Until March

San Antonio city officials are working to extend the city's pandemic-related housing assistance program to March. City staff members told the City Council on Thursday that the state will grant San Antonio more than three-million-dollars as part of the Texas Emergency Rental Assistance Program. The city will also receive more than ten-million-dollars from the federal CARES Act. Assistant City Manager Lori Houston says the city's Emergency Housing Assistance Program should be funded into early March.
