The AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Texas is a $1.86 a gallon for regular unleaded. That price is up one-cent from a week ago, and is 36-cents less than a year ago. The national average is $2.16. Crude oil prices are the highest they've been in nine-months, but the pandemic is keeping demand low as people drive fewer miles. The average price at the pump in San Antonio is a $1.77.
