DFW Businesses Reduce Capacity As Pandemic Hospitalizations Rise

Dallas area in a map

As a result of increasing numbers of coronavirus hospitalizations, bars in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are being ordered to shut down again. In addition, other nonessential businesses are ordered to limit the number of people allowed on the premises. Thursday was the seventh straight day that coronavirus patients made up more than 15-percent of the number of people hospitalized in North Texas. That rate triggers stricter measures under Gov. Greg Abbott's executive order that was issued in October.
