Republicans are retaining all of the targeted congressional seats in Texas, with one race still too close to call. Backed by money and organizational support from the national party, Texas Democrats aimed to flip several seats in the state including four in Central Texas. But the GOP incumbents won by wider margins in many of the races this year than in 2018. Republicans also scored a couple of hotly contested open seats. The race for an open seat continues as North Texas still didn't have a declared winner as of Wednesday.
