El Paso Patients Transferred To San Antonio Amid Local Virus Surge

Bexar County is accepting patients from El Paso, where a coronavirus surge is underway. So far, five El Paso patients have reportedly been sent to San Antonio. Officials with University Health say the El Paso patients don't have the coronavirus, but are ICU patients being relocated to free up space. The Texas Emergency Medical Task Force may decide to move coronavirus patients to other hospitals in Texas if the need arises. San Antonio area hospitals aren't expecting more than ten patients to come from El Paso for now.
