Texas Supreme Court Temporarily Reinstates Limit On Ballot Boxes

The Texas Supreme Court is temporarily reinstating Governor Greg Abbott's limit of one mail-in ballot box per county. The court will review a lower court's decision blocking Abbott's order, and has asked both sides to submit arguments by 5 p.m. today. Democrats argue Abbott is trying to suppress the vote by having only one location to drop off ballots. Abbott and Republicans say they are doing it to provide better security of the voting process.
