Army Says Vanessa Guillen Died 'In The Line Of Duty'

The Army says Specialist Vanessa Guillen died "in the line of duty." Officials at Fort Hood made the announcement Tuesday, which gives her family certain military benefits. They include a funeral with full military honors, compensation to help with life expenses, and others. The remains of the 20-year-old from Houston were found about two months after she was last seen alive in April at the Army base. A suspect killed himself before he could be arrested.
