Metro Health Reports 170 New Coronavavirus Cases

San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg and Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff are providing an update on COVID-19 cases in the area. On Thursday night, Mayor Nirenberg reported 170 new positive cases of coronavirus in Bexar County. The county's overall total of COVID cases now stands at over 59,000. Additionally, three deaths were reported, bringing the county's death toll to 1,171. City officials also reported that 185 patients are hospitalized, 80 are in the intensive care unit and 36 are on ventilators.
