Lawsuit Contends County Elections Officials Are Creating Roadblocks To Vote

The Bexar County Elections Department is being sued less than a month before the general election. The group MOVE Texas is seeking a temporary injunction after the county cut the number of polling locations available to the public. Additionally, the lawsuit contends that Bexar County elections officials have made it increasingly difficult for people to volunteer to become deputy registrars and help register people to vote. County Judge Nelson Wolff says new voting machines and mega voting sites like the AT&T Center are allowing more people to cast votes and with more flexibility.
