Evacuations In Polk and San Jacinto Counties After Pipeline Explosion

No injuries are reported after a natural gas pipeline exploded at the San Jacinto-Polk county line. It happened yesterday morning along the Trinity River, near Highway 1127. Kinder Morgan, which owns the pipeline, shut down all of its lines in the Goodrich area and further down the line. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution. An investigation into the cause of the explosion is ongoing.
