Two people are hospitalized after two small planes collided on the runway at the San Marcos Regional Airport. State police say the accident happened Thursday evening when a Cessna and an experimental plane ran into each other while trying to land. One plane flipped over, and the other caught on fire. A pilot and a student were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The pilot of the other plane was unhurt. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the crash.
