Cruz Urges Senate To Confirm SCOTUS Nominee Before Election

Senator Ted Cruz wants to move quickly on President Trump's next Supreme Court nominee. On ABC's This Week, the Texas Republican said the Senate should consider and confirm a nominee to the nation's highest court before the election. Cruz said he believes the votes will be there to confirm a nominee. Cruz and his fellow senators are gearing up for a fight to fill the seat of the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died Friday at age 87.
