San Antonio Police Shoot, Kill Suspect During Scuffle With Officer

San Antonio police shot and killed a man during a reported scuffle with an officer, as officers were serving a domestic violence warrant. It happened in the 100 block of Willee Drive.

Police Chief William McManus said he had not yet seen the body cam video, but had been told the suspect resisted arrest and hit the officer in the face with a paint can during the scuffle. He also allegedly grabbed the officer's gun out of his holster. It was then, that he was shot by another officer. "The two fought with the gun and one officer fired one shot, hitting the suspect," McManus said.

The suspect later died. The officer's injuries were not serious. An investigation continues.
