Couple Arrested In Seguin For Leaving Dogs In Hot Trailer

A couple accused of the negligent deaths of a half-dozen dogs are under arrest after several months on the lam. Officers say 54-year-old Robin Bouthot and 47-year-old Betina Kinsey left the dogs in a hot travel trailer in late July, and all six of them died. Their last known whereabouts were in Floresville, but acting on a tip, the Atascosa County Sheriff's Office found them in Seguin. Bouthot was working at a mechanic shop and Kinsey was hiding nearby. They both face six counts of animal abuse.
