San Antonio International Airport Installs Coronavirus-Killing Robot

A coronavirus-killing robot is now in place at the San Antonio International Airport. Officials announced Wednesday the purchase of the Xenex LightStrike robot, which uses bursts of UV light to kill bacteria and viruses on common surfaces as well as hard-to-reach areas. The healthcare industry makes use of the robot, but the airport is the first in the world to have one. The LightStrike is a product of San Antonio-based Xenex.
