Coronavirus Outbreak Reported At The Children's Shelter In San Antonio

Officials with The Children's Shelter in San Antonio are reporting an outbreak of coronavirus at the facility.

So far 11 children and four staff members have come down with the virus. The outbreak started on July 15th, when two children with symptoms tested positive. A spokesperson says new precautions are now in place, including regular temperature checks, weekly tests, and PPE. About 2,000 kids are in foster care in Bexar County, but the shelter isn't taking in any more until they get a handle on the outbreak.
