Northside, North East ISDs To Delay In-Person Classes

School books on desk, education concept

Northside ISD and North East ISD plan to delay in-person teaching for several weeks after the start of the new school year. Both districts announced on Thursday that they will offer online learning in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Northside ISD starts school year on August 24th and will offer no in-person classes until September 8th at the soonest. NEISD's school year is scheduled to begin August 17th with at least three-weeks of online classes. Both districts say they'll help supply digital devices to students who need them.
