Deadlines Passes With Cowboys, Dak Failing To Reach Multi-Year Contract

The deadline is over for the Dallas Cowboys and Dak Prescott to agree to a multi-year contract in 2020. The Pro Bowl quarterback will play under the franchise tag of 31.4-million dollars this year, which makes him the highest paid Cowboy for a single-season in franchise history. Sports Illustrated reported Prescott's agent Todd France and Prescott negotiated with the Cowboys until the deadline, but could not finalize an agreement.
