Texas restaurants are once again limited to operating at 50% capacity in an effort to slow the recent increase in coronavirus cases. Gov. Greg Abbott issued the order on Friday, and it took effect on Monday. Emily Knight, head of the Texas Restaurant Association, says a lot of restaurants were already effectively limited to 50-percent capacity in an effort to comply with social distancing protocols. But she says if occupancy remains at 50-percent for too long, many restaurants won't survive.
