Five more Bexar County jail inmates have tested positive for coronvirus, bringing to 15 the total number of inmates to test positive during the pandemic. All 5 of the inmates had already been transported to the infirmary for medical observation prior to testing.
All inmates continue to have their temperatures taken daily by University Health Systems staff, along with being required to wear a mask at all times. Corresponding living units have been placed on quarantine, meaning there is no movement in or out of these units for 14 days.
