Houston Museum of Natural Science Announces Furloughs, Pay Cuts

The Houston Museum of Natural Science is furloughing 70-percent of its staff amid the economic downturn caused by the coronavirus pandemic. That amounts to a layoff of 337 employees. The furloughed employees will be eligible for health insurance and other benefits at least until May 31st. The remaining 144 employees will have to deal with a 15-percent pay cut.
