Abbott: Tens Of Thousands Of Texans May Be Infected

Gov. Greg Abbott says there's a probability that "tens of thousands" of Texans may test positive for coronavirus over the next two-weeks. Abbott made the observation during a virtual town hall on Thursday evening. He added that he had tested negative for the virus. Earlier in the day, Abbott had issued a statewide health disaster declaration that shut down schools, dining areas, and other businesses, and banned gatherings of more than ten-people. Abbott says the state is "prepared to respond to" the disease.
