Two Port Of Houston Terminals Close Because Of Confirmed Coronavirus Case

Two terminals at the Port of Houston are temporarily shut down after a longshoreman tested positive for the coronavirus. Port officials say the patient is a member of the International Longshoremen's Association who recently worked at both the Bayport and Barbours Cut Terminals. All vessel, yard and gate operations at the two terminals were shut down on Wednesday until further notice. Officials say the Houston Ship Channel and more than 200 other private terminals are still in operation.
