A three-day blood drive is scheduled for this week at the Alamodome to shore up the local supply. Officials said Monday that the blood drive will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, Wednesday and Thursday. The South Texas Blood & Tissue Center reportedly chose the Alamodome because it's big enough to provide for social distancing among donors. The blood drive is by appointment only. Donors can make an appointment online. The Blood Center aims to collect 600 donations per day. Donors will receive gift cards.
