Online Ammo Dealer Sued Over Santa Fe School Shooting

US-CRIME-TEXAS-SCHOOL-SHOOTING

Attorneys representing the victims of the 2018 Santa Fe High School shooting are suing an online ammunition retailer. The lawsuit claims Dimitrios Pagourtzis was 17 at the time of the shooting and too young to buy ammo, according to federal law. Luckygunner-dot-com is accused of selling shotgun and handgun ammunition to Pagourtzis without verifying his age. Neither federal nor Texas law requires ammo dealers to check IDs prior to sales.
