Five Cases Of Coronavirus Reported In Houston Area From Travel To Egypt

As of late Thursday night, five cases of coronavirus are reported in the Houston area, all involving people who traveled to Egypt last month. Harris County officials on Thursday confirmed a man and a woman from the northwest part of the county had tested positive. The woman is a staff member at Rice University. Later Thursday evening, two more cases were confirmed, one inside Houston and one out in Harris County. On Wednesday, Fort Bend County officials announced a "presumptive" case. Health officials are trying to find out who else went to Egypt with the five patients.
