Health officials say it won't make Austin any safer from the coronavirus to cancel next week's South by Southwest film and music festival. Austin Public Health announced on Wednesday that the threat in Austin is low, even though a patient in Travis County is being tested for the virus. A spokesman says a panel of local doctors and infectious disease experts are evaluating the risks of upcoming mass gatherings like South by Southwest.
