Potential Jurors Sent Home In San Marcos Over Coronavirus Issue

Potential jurors being interviewed at the Hays County Government Center are sent home due to a coronavirus incident. On Monday, a potential juror who had been in contact with someone who just came back from a trip to Italy prompted the District Court to send all the potential jurors home out of an abundance of caution. After further discussion between the potential juror and Hays County health officials, it was determined the risk of anyone getting coronavirus was minimal. The San Marcos Record reports that county epidemiologist Eric Schneider will be keeping tabs on the potential juror's health, just in case.
