Trump Nominates TX Congressman Ratcliffe For DNI A Second Time

Conservatives Gather At Annual CPAC Event

President Trump is again nominating Texas Congressman John Ratcliffe to be Director of National Intelligence. The president announced the nomination on Twitter, calling him an outstanding man of great talent. Trump previously nominated Ratcliffe last July, but Ratcliffe withdrew his name days later. Trump said at the time he believed Ratcliffe was being treated unfairly by the media. Ratcliffe's 4th District stretches from DFW to the Red River.
