The FBI reports a capital murder suspect is awaiting transfer to San Antonio after his arrest south of the border. Mexican authorities captured 22-year-old Alejandro Almendarez-Hurtado in Coahuila and handed him over to the Border Patrol in Eagle Pass. Almendarez-Hurtado is one of several suspects in a 2016 home invasion robbery in which Enrique Gutierrez, Sr. was shot and killed and a second person was wounded. Right now, he's being held at the Maverick County jail.
