Former Dog Trainer Convicted Of Fraud Ordered To Surrender Assets

Legal office of lawyers, justice and law concept : Wooden judge gavel or a wood hammer and a soundboard used by a judge person on a desk in a courtroom with a blurred brass scale of justice behind.

A former dog trainer convicted of fraud is now ordered to hand over more than a million-dollars in assets. Bradley Croft, the 48-year-old owner of Universal K-9, was convicted last month of numerous counts of wire fraud, identity theft, money laundering, and filing a false tax return. Croft scammed the federal government out of GI Bill benefits intended to train service dogs and their handlers. A judge ordered Croft to surrender his business property, more than 140-thousand-dollars in cash that was seized, a motorhome, two pickup trucks, two personal watercraft, and a boat trailer.
