Defense Department To Review Screening Process After Naval Base Shooting

Shooting On Naval Air Station Pensacola Leaves Multiple Dead And Injured

The Defense Department says it will review measures for screening foreign students after Friday's deadly shooting at a Florida navy base. The FBI is leading the investigation into the shooting which killed three people and left eight others wounded. Defense Secretary Mark Esper says the gunman was a Saudi Arabian second lieutenant in pilot training. Esper said last night the vetting and screening of all foreign military students is under review. Officials are working to determine if the shooting was terror-related.
