The Houston Astros evened up the World Series last night with an 8-1 victory over the Washington Nationals. The Astros scored two runs in the 1st inning thanks to back to back RBI singles from Alex Bregman and Yuli Gurriel. They added two more in the 2nd thanks to a home run from catcher Robinson Chirinos, who also homered in Game 3. The game was blown open in the 7th inning when Bregman hit a grand slam off of Nationals reliever Fernando Rodney.

Astros rookie pitcher Jose Urquidy pitched a gem in his World Series debut. The 24-year old didn't allow a run and only gave up two hits in five innings of work to earn the win. The Astros' relievers combined to give up one run and two hits in four innings to seal the victory. Gerrit Cole is set to take the mound in Game 5 tomorrow against Nationals' ace Max Scherzer in a pitching rematch from Game 1.
