A man suspected of placing credit card skimmers on gas pumps in the San Antonio area is under arrest after DNA evidence was used to identify him. Police say 29-year-old Yosmany Alba-Labrada planted the devices earlier this year on pumps at a Circle K. The store is across the street from an San Antonio Police Department substation. Officers collected DNA from the skimmers and sent it to the Bexar County Crime Lab. Police arrested Alba-Labrada this week. He faces ten charges of using or manufacturing a criminal instrument.
