Fort Worth Police Chief Apologizes After Woman Killed In Home

Fort Worth Interim Police Chief Ed Kraus is again apologizing after a woman was shot to death inside her own home by a now former officer. Kraus told reporters today there is no way to bring back Atatiana Jefferson and noted she never should have been killed. He promised the department would work hard to restore the public trust. Aaron Dean was arrested last night on murder charges and is already out on bond. Dean shot Jefferson early Saturday after police were called to her home for a welfare check. He resigned yesterday.
