Former Longhorns QB Jevan Snead Dead At 32

North Texas v Texas

Austin police are investigating the death of former Texas quarterback Jevan Snead. Police don't suspect foul play is involved after officers responded when the 32-year-old was found dead Saturday night. The former Longhorns quarterback transferred to Ole Miss after losing the starting job to Colt McCoy. Snead threw 46 touchdowns for the Rebels in two seasons, leading them to an 18-and-8 record in that span. He went undrafted in the NFL in 2010 but spent part of the offseason with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
