A judge has put a temporary hold on the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority's plans to start draining four of its lakes on Monday. Lakeside property owners are suing the agency to prevent the draining of the lakes. At a hearing on Wednesday, a judge issued a temporary restraining order on draining the lakes while he considers the property owners' request for a temporary injunction. The judge is expected to rule on the injunction request within a week. The hearing continues Monday at the Guadalupe County Courthouse in Seguin.
