San Antonio police shoot man who threatened to jump off bridge

A man who was threatening to jump from an overpass ended up being shot to death by San Antonio police. Police Chief William McManus says the man in his 30's had been standing on the ledge of I-37 near the Alamodome threatening to jump. McManus says at one point he pointed what appeared to be a gun at officers and that's when they opened fire, shooting him several times. Police say it turns out the weapon was a knife with a gun-like handle. The incident caused major traffic delays as I-37 was closed for several hours during the investigation.
