Aldridge leads Spurs to victory over the Celtics

LaMarcus Aldridge posted his highest scoring total on the road of his career as he finished with 48 points (20-31 FG), 13 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the Spurs to a 115-96 victory over the Celtics tonight in Boston. DeMar DeRozan contributed 16 points (8-18 FG), 11 assists and 2 blocks in the victory. Marcus Smart led the Celtics with 14 points (6-14 FG) and 4 rebounds, while Gordon Hayward recorded 13 points (4-11 FG), 10 rebounds and 3 assists in the losing effort. With the win, the Spurs improve to 43-31, while the Celtics fall to 43-31 on the season. The Spurs currently sit in the 8-seed in the Western Conference, 7 games behind the first-place Warriors, while the Celtics remain the 5-seed in the Eastern Conference, 12 games behind the first-place Bucks.
