A motorcyclist was killed Monday afternoon in an accident on I-35 in Schertz, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Schertz Police say when officers arrived to I-35 just north of FM 2252, they found the wreckage in the grassy strip between the highway and the access road. The motorcycle operator, Zachary Hartley, 22, was unconscious and was rushed to SAMMC, where he was pronounced dead.
Video provided by a truck driver showed Hartley, who was not wearing a helmet, driving erratically, and losing control of the motorcycle after striking a car.
Schertz Police are investigating the incident.
