James Harden scored 40 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Rockets beat the Magic 103-98 in Houston. Chris Paul scored 12 points in his return to the Houston lineup after being out five weeks with a hamstring injury. The Rockets trailed 34-18 after the first quarter with Harden scoring 15 points while on his way to his 23rd straight game with 30 or more points. The Rockets are 13-and-5 in their last 18 games. Aaron Gordon led Orlando with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Nikola Vucevic had 19 points and 17 boards in defeat. The Magic lost for the sixth time in seven games.
