Alleged Child Predator Arrested in New Braunfels

An alleged child predator is under arrest in New Braunfels, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police spokesman David Ferguson says Isaiah Correa, 20, was arrested last month in New Braunfels for illicit contact with a 12 year old girl.  He says Correa bonded out and while free, he allegedly contacted the same little girl again and tried to initiate a relationship.  Ferguson says that violated a court ordered protective order.

"So, based on the results of that investigation, that man has been arrested without incident," Ferguson said.

He says this time the charges are meant to stick.

"He was charged with third degree felony kidnapping, and also with a charge of violating a protective order."

Ferguson says New Braunfels Police want to know if he has been preying on any other little girls.  Parents who may have information are asked to call police.
