Man's Body Found in Rubble of Major South Side Fire

The body of a man has been recovered from the rubble of three buildings which were destroyed by a fast moving fire in south Bexar County overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports,

County fire units were called to the scene at Loop 1604 and Pleasanton Rd. last night, and when the arrived their found the buildings engulfed in flames.

One man in a wheelchair was rescued from the fire, a second man had to be treated for serious injuries.

A third man, 70 years old, was feared missing in the flames, and early today when the rubble cooled, the man's body was found.

Arson investigators will be on the scene today, trying to determine a cause of the fire.  All three buildings, a home and two businesses, was a total loss.
