Murray Joins Walker on the Injury List as Season Nears

The Spurs are being bedeviled by injuries as the team prepares to start the season without the retired Manu Ginobili or the departed Tony Parker, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

The Spurs said today that guard Dejounte Murray underwent an MRI examination today and it revealed that he suffered a torn right anterior cruciate ligament in yesterday's pre-season game against the Rockets.

Murray left the court in obvious pain due to the injury.

The Spurs are already dealing with the loss of rookie Lonnie Walker IV, who underwent an MRI on Saturday that revealed a torn meniscus in his right knee.

The Spurs have not said how long Walker will be out, but ESPN reports he could miss two months.
