A man and a woman were shot Sunday morning in their apartment in the Medical Center, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police responding to a call in the 5600 block of Fairhaven, which is off Fredericksburg Rd, found a woman in her 30s dead from a gunshot wound.
When they entered the woman's apartment, they found a man in bed with a gunshot wound to the head.. He was rushed to the hospital with no vital signs.
Detectives said it appears both victims were in bed when they were shot.. They don't think one of the victims was the shooter, and they say the incident was not random, but they didn't elaborate.
