Paralyzed Man in Wheelchair Shot in Drive-By Shooting

A paralyzed 36 year old man who is confined to a wheelchair is now clinging to life at the hospital, after he was shot in the head in an overnight drive by shooting, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police say the victim was sitting in his home in the 100 block of DaFoste, which is on the east side, when somebody drove by his home and fired several shots at the house.

One of the bullets went through the wallboard and hit the victim in the head.

He was non responsive when EMS arrived, and doctors at SAMMC are trying to save his life.

The car containing the shooter drove off.  Police think the people in the car may have shot at the wrong house.
