A 46 year old woman is in extremely critical condition after she jumped out of a pickup truck on a south side road following an argument with her boyfriend, and was run over by another pickup, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the couple was n the truck traveling down Highway 181 near Donop Road about midnight when the woman ended the argument by opening the passenger side door and jumping out onto the highway.
The boyfriend drove away, and as the woman walked on the shoulder of the road she was hit by an oncoming pickup.
She suffered major injuries and was rushed to SAMMC in critical condition.
The driver of the truck that hit her will not face charges.
