Officials Address Santa Fe, Texas After Tragic Shooting

Randy Weber

Officials in Texas are talking about the long road to recovery after Friday's deadly school shooting in Santa Fe.  Congressman Randy Weber of the 14th District called Santa Fe a  "salt of the earth community" that has the resilience to overcome this  tragedy.  Weber fought back tears at a news conference today as he  recalled how the community rallied after being hit by Hurricane Harvey.   Galveston County Judge Mark Henry told reporters he held a probable  cause hearing for suspect 17-year-old Dimitrios Pagourtzis [[  pug-GORT-sis ]], in which he found cause to charge the teen with capital  murder and assault on a public servant.  Santa Fe ISD Superintendent  Dr. Leigh Wall says classes will be canceled Monday and Tuesday.   Pagourtzis is being held without bond.
