Giuliani: Mueller Told Trump Lawyers They Can't Indict A President

Trump

Rudy Giuliani says Special Counsel  Robert Mueller's team told President Trump they cannot indict a sitting president.  Giuliani told CNN that investigators  acknowledged to Trump's legal team that they can't indict.  Mueller is  looking into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia in  the 2016 election.  The Justice Department has followed a policy of  refusing to indict a president going back to the Nixon administration.   Mueller could still issue a report making recommendations to the House  of Representatives, which in turn could begin impeachment proceedings.
