Jeb Bush eulogizes mother, Barbara Bush, at funeral

Scores of people are celebrating the  legacy of former first lady Barbara Bush.  Today at her funeral,  Presidential historian Jon described her as the first lady of the  greatest generation as he delivered one of three eulogies for Mrs.  Bush.  Over 15-hundred people turned out at St. Martin's Episcopal  Church in Houston, including four of the five living ex-presidents and  First Lady Melania Trump.  recalled the first lady's long and  consequential life.  

The former first lady's son, Jeb Bush, said his mother was his first and most important teacher and role  model.  Delivering an emotional eulogy at St. Martin's church in  Houston, Jeb said his mother taught him how to live a life with purpose and  meaning.  He called it a blessing to have a teacher like her 24-7 adding  "but her students weren't perfect."  The former Florida governor said  the love between her and his father, George H.W. Bush, was a constant in  his life.  He told a story about the last time his mother went into the  hospital, saying "I think my dad got sick on purpose just to be with  her."  

The former First Lady was laid to rest at the George  H.W. Bush Presidential Library at Texas A&M University following  the 90-minute service.
